Our FP&A team owns end-to-end financial planning, reporting, controllership, and strategic decision support for senior leadership.Key Job ResponsibilitiesWe seek a Finance Manager to join the Amazon Pharmacy FP&A team and lead Pharmacy Finance through critical financial planning processes. This role will have full P&L exposure, collaborating with the business to surface financial insights that influence strategic decision-making at the senior leadership level. The right candidate will have strong analytical capabilities, a keen eye for detail while maintaining strategic perspective, and a passion for financial storytelling, continuous innovation, and developing best practices to improve financial planning capabilities.A Day In The LifeLead the Pharmacy Finance team through annual planning and quarterly guidance cycles, including variance bridging and scenario modeling across the full P&LPartner with cross-functional business and finance leaders to develop short and long-term strategic plans, using good judgment to influence decisionsUnderstand key drivers of financial performance, identifying risks and opportunities and surfacing actionable insights to stakeholdersCraft concise financial narratives for senior and executive leadershipCreate and implement best practices in financial bridging to raise the standard of how financial data is communicatedSeek opportunities to automate and simplify financial reporting tools, creating efficiencies in financial processes to enable better decision supportOwn ad-hoc financial analyses, providing data support and financial insights to business teams and finance leadership to support strategic initiatives
