Director Of Client ServicesThe Director of Client Services plays a critical leadership role in driving business growth by identifying, evaluating, and securing high-priority business opportunities. This position is responsible for overseeing strategic marketing initiatives, managing client relationships, and leading the business development team to meet organizational goals. The Director will develop and implement marketing strategies, produce business development materials, maintain active client engagement, and deliver compelling proposals and presentations. This role will serve as a member on the Management Committee and will collaborate closely with department heads and executive leadership to align business pursuits with company objectives.Essential Duties:Develop and manage the organization's annual marketing plan and pursuit budgetsRecommend market strategies, potential areas for growth, and new policies or programsLead branding efforts and enhance CERM's visibility across target marketsOversee and enhance the company's social media presence and reputationLead all outside and inside sales activities to include building strategic tools and related reporting mechanismsBuild and maintain strategic client and industry relationships to gather market intelligence and identify opportunitiesOversight management of client and prospect pre-qualification and certification processes and proceduresKeep current on government regulatory agency guidelines and recommend policies and planning modifications to include recommendations for resources required for new and established market opportunitiesGather and establish procedures for regularly collecting information on potential business opportunities, from within the corporation and from external sourcesDevelop and deliver marketing and communications strategies for the organizationMaintain records on contacts and promotional efforts made personally and by others and follows up on business opportunities at appropriate intervalsOversee the preparation and periodically review of company collaterals (brochures, historical data, personnel resumes, etc.) for accuracy, effectiveness of presentation and update accordinglyAssign responsibility for proposal preparation, and implement quality assurance protocol of all proposals before submittal to clientsOversee development of presentations to potential clientsOrganize and track corporate participation in technical, professional and association meetingsPrepare forecasts of prospective work for use by others in preparing work manpower requirementsMonitor company's client portfolio to ensure client satisfaction is maintained by developing strategic planning and engagement tools to ascertain CERM's Client Relationship Management performance on marketing engagements, programs, and projectsOversight and ownership of the proposal management process providing governance and leadership concerning readiness, execution and proposal deliveryRequired Skills:Proven track record of success in senior marketing roles by demonstrated ability to increase market share in terms of revenue, sales, account management and client development.Project management skills to manage, track and communicate status of multiple projects and tasksExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsDemonstrated supervisory management skills5-10 years of experience in technical services industry and managing marketing campaigns5-10 years' experience working with government contract proposals is desiredExperience working with Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer, MSWD, Excel and PowerPoint skillsRequired Experience:Minimum of bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or in a related field with clearly demonstrated business acumenRegularly participates in related industry organizations and conferences-preferably in a leadership and/or officer capacityMBA a plus, not requiredPMP Certification a plus, not requiredMarketing Certifications a plus, not requiredPhysical Requirements:Requires the ability to exert light physical effort including, but not limited to, lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, etc. of objects and materials of light weight (generally 30 50 pounds and less)May involve extended periods of time in seated position and at a keyboard or workstationWork Environment:Professional officeThis role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machinesWillingness to travel extensively to various meetings and project sitesCorporate Environmental Risk Management, L.L.C. is a Certified Drug-Free Workplace and Equal Employment Opportunity Employer that does not unlawfully discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, childbirth or related medical conditions), national origin, ancestry, age, and/or disability.
