JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client seeks a Director of Consultant Relations to join the client team. This person will play an integral role in the firm's capital formation efforts. Responsibilities include:


-Build strategic relationships with the investment consultant community

-Plan and prioritize product roadshows based on consultant interest and strategy relevance/readiness

-Engage with all three segments of investment consulting firms (executive management, research, and field consultants) to secure re-ups and win additional commitments/assets

-Develop and implement strategic business plans to identify growth opportunities, maintain strong ratings for existing client exposure, and increase exposure or approval ratings for the firm

-Collaborate with the investment team, CFO suite and Investor Relations to ensure effective and cohesive communications with the institutional investment consultant community


JOB REQUIREMENTS:

-Undergraduate degree required and advanced degree preferred but not required

-7+ years of experience managing institutional consultant relationships across North America

-Existing consultant network and proven track record of forming relationships with both research and field consultants, achieving, and maintaining ratings, and supporting overall capital formation efforts touching investment consultants

-Fluent knowledge of private equity, capital markets with strong understanding of segments and constructs

-Detail orientation with proven ability to execute on deadlines

-Outstanding verbal and written communications skills
