About the Role 

The Senior Sales Manager is responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy to achieve revenue targets, manage sales operations, and lead a high-performing sales team. This role requires a proven track record in sales leadership, a deep understanding of the small business and enterprise market, technology industry and a passion for driving revenue growth. 

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive sales strategy aligned with company objectives. 
  • Build and lead a high-performing sales team through coaching, training, and mentorship. 
  • Set and achieve aggressive sales quotas and KPIs. 
  • Forecast sales accurately and develop strategies to exceed targets. 
  • Manage the sales pipeline, ensuring efficient lead qualification and conversion. 
  • Collaborate with marketing to develop effective lead generation campaigns. 
  • Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement. 
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners. 
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activities. 
  • Oversee day-to-day sales operations, including territory management, sales forecasting, and pipeline management. 
  • Provide leadership and guidance to sales representatives, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management. 
  • Develop and implement sales training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of the sales team. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support sales initiatives. 

 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field. 
  • Proven track record in sales management with a history of exceeding targets. 
  • Experience in the B2B sales industry, preferably in the small business market. 
  • Strong leadership and team management skills. 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and HubSpot is required
  • Experience working independently and managing a remote team required. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. 
  • Data analysis and reporting using Excel spreadsheets required.
