The Executive Director is responsible for all aspects of quality and services for the hospice, home health, and palliative care.

The Executive Director of Hospice, Home Health, and Palliative Care is responsible for complying with safety and emergency procedures, alongside completing requisite competency programs while ensuring compliance with state, federal, and institutional regulations. The Executive Director is accountable for maintaining survey readiness and overseeing Continuous Quality Improvement. Additionally, the position involves contributing to policy development, recruiting, training, and mentoring staff, as well as supervising their performance and managing productivity.

Required:

  • be a licensed Hospice Administrator.
  • have experience in Palliative Care.
  • years of home care management experience.
  • years of administrative and supervisory experience with at least one year experience in a community health environment.
  • with budgetary responsibilities, including budget development and monitoring.
  • degree in related field or equivalent combination of experience and education.

Preferred:

  • as a Hospice Home Health Administrator.
  • of Hospice/Home Health regulatory requirements preferred.
  • in overseeing marketing and program development in the health care arena preferred.
  • of Medicare is highly desirable.
