What You’ll Do

As a caregiver with Senior Helpers, you’ll take on meaningful tasks that bring comfort and joy to our clients, including:

  • Personal Care Assistance: Helping with ADLs like bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Companionship: Brightening someone’s day with conversation, games, reading, or accompanying them on outings.
  • Meal Preparation: Crafting nutritious meals that align with dietary needs.
  • Medication Reminders: Keeping clients on track with their prescriptions.
  • Light Housekeeping: Keeping their home tidy and safe with tasks like laundry and cleaning.
  • Transportation: Getting clients to appointments, errands, and social activities.
  • Specialized Care: Supporting Alzheimer’s, dementia, and Veterans Affairs clients with tailored care.
  • Fall Risk Management: Promoting safety with mobility aids and proactive measures.
  • Vital Monitoring & Communication: Observing health indicators and keeping families or healthcare professionals informed.

  • Comprehensive Support: 24/7 office assistance and one-on-one caregiver assignments.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking compassionate individuals who embody kindness, patience, and a can-do attitude.

  • Requirements:
    • Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or equivalent.
    • Family or professional caregiver experience welcomed, but not required.
    • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
    • Ability to lift 50 pounds and complete physical caregiver tasks.
    • Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently.

  • Shift Types: 12-hour, 8-hour, 4-hour, 3-hour, or 2-hour shifts.
  • Flexibility: Day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts available.
