We are currently seeking a talented and experienced Video Editor / Videographer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior Video Editor, you will play a crucial role in capturing captivating footage and transforming it into compelling visual stories that engage audiences and elevate our clients' brands.


Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Video Editor to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling through video and a keen eye for detail. As a Senior Video Editor, you will be responsible for leading the post-production process, collaborating closely with directors, producers, and other team members to bring projects to life.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the post-production process from ingest to delivery, ensuring all deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained.
  • Edit video footage to create compelling narratives, using advanced editing techniques and software tools.
  • Collaborate with directors and producers to understand project objectives and creative vision.
  • Provide creative input and innovative ideas to enhance storytelling and visual impact.
  • Manage and mentor junior editors, providing guidance and feedback to help them develop their skills.
  • Work closely with various teams to ensure a cohesive and polished final product.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies, continually refining and improving editing techniques.
  • Maintain organized project files and assets, adhering to best practices for file management and version control.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a video editor, with a strong portfolio showcasing your editing skills and creative vision.
  • Proficiency in industry-standard editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro).
  • Expertise in color correction, audio mixing, and other post-production techniques.
  • Strong storytelling abilities and a keen understanding of visual narrative structure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work, even under tight deadlines.
  • Leadership experience, with the ability to inspire and mentor junior team members.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to evolving project requirements and production schedules.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a marketing agency.
  • Familiarity with motion graphics and visual effects software (e.g., Adobe After Effects).
  • Knowledge of video compression and delivery formats for various platforms (e.g., YouTube, Vimeo, broadcast, social media).
  • Understanding of copyright laws and licensing requirements for audio and visual content.
