EMR USA is looking for a motivated Scrap Metal Manager Trainee to join our team in Mobile, AL. This is an incredible opportunity to learn the business from the ground up and develop the skills needed to become a successful leader in our organization. What You'll Experience: As a Scrap Metal Manager Trainee , you'll spend at least a year immersed in all aspects of the metal recycling industry. You'll start by getting hands-on experience in the yard, learning about our operations and processes. You'll also shadow other managers to understand the ins and outs of managing a team and running a successful business. What We're Looking For: Education & Experience: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Relevant work experience is also highly valued. Skills & Abilities: Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills, along with familiarity with safety regulations, equipment maintenance, and logistical planning. Tech Savvy: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software. Physical & Environmental Demands: Outdoor Environment: Work in all weather conditions with exposure to noise and moving mechanical parts.
