Licensed or licensed‑eligible mental health professional per Virginia DMAS/DBHDS and registered with VA Department of Health Professions. Clinical experience with adults and/or youth with severe mental illness or behavioral difficulties. Valid Commonwealth of VA driver’s license; sufficient insurance for liability needs. Other requirements as assigned by DMAS or licensure standards. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide community‑based psychosocial rehabilitation and individual therapy; hybrid work across program settings may be required. Offer up to 15 hours per week of individual outpatient counseling; school‑based counseling support may be required. Develop and implement individualized treatment interventions. Conduct clinical assessments, documentation, supervision, and authorizations. Engage clients with psychoeducation, behavioral support, and therapeutic interventions. Use verbal de‑escalation techniques; teach coping skills. Assess safety of individuals at all times. Develop treatment plans based on assessment goals. Complete required documentation: behavior tracking, service plans, reports, discharge planning, progress notes in compliance with DMAS, licensure, CARF, Dominion standards. Coordinate care with staff and community providers. Maintain compliance with funding sources and regulatory documentation. Conduct diagnostic assessments and intakes under supervision. Provide weekly/monthly supervision to QMHPs. Assist with crisis coordination and be available 24/7 as needed. Participate in licensure‑grade supervision including assessment of counseling skills, treatment plans, case records, family interventions, case management, crisis intervention, and referral/discharge processes.
