Details
Position Type: Temporary
Worksite Type: Hybrid (3 days onsite)
Location: Loop
Rate: $40/hr.-$45/hr.
Duties:
- Act as primary daily contact for all clients and investment managers trading derivative products.
- Estimate the daily gain/loss on futures contracts (market- to-market)
- Reconcile collateral balance with brokers on a daily and monthly basis
- Perform daily activities related to Initial Margin and Variation Margin
- Collaborate with Derivative Portfolio Managements and Derivative Trading teams to support end-to-end trade processing
- Perform authentication of new trades, settlement of collateral, and settlement of derivative payments
- Monitor market trends and changes in derivatives regulations
- Perform data management functions to ensure appropriate flow of data
Qualifications:
- Two plus years of derivatives experience in a Banking environment is required
- Experience of using GMI back-office software is preferred
- Operations and financial services knowledge is required
- Advanced knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Word
- Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
- Able to execute day-to-day activities to a high standard, with analytical ability and attention to detail.
