Email Marketing ManagerThe Email Marketing Manager role leads the strategy, execution, and optimization of Merkle's external email communications. This role is responsible for developing and implementing effective B2B email strategies that drive engagement, nurture leads, and support conversion goals. The Senior Manager will play a key role in aligning email initiatives with broader digital marketing efforts to ensure a cohesive cross-channel approach.This position requires a strong understanding of Merkle's business and the ability to continuously enhance the program through data-driven insights, automation best practices, and audience segmentation. The Senior Manager will also serve as the organization's subject matter expert in Marketo, providing strategic and technical guidance to the marketing team during planning and execution.Responsibilities:Lead strategic planning for the email channel, identifying opportunities to enhance audience engagement, strengthen nurture journeys, and inform broader digital marketing strategies to support business goals and objectivesManage the end-to-end email marketing process, from planning and creative direction through testing, deployment, and performance trackingExecute and optimize tailored email nurture, newsletter, batch and blast, and event campaigns that deliver relevant content to target audiences, driving engagement, lead conversion, and client retentionPull and analyze email performance data to identify trends, measure effectiveness, and translate insights into both strategic recommendations and actionable campaign optimizationsPartner with the broader digital team to connect insights and activities across platforms and channels to inform and strengthen email strategy and the overarching digital strategyCollaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing Operations, Content, and Creative, to ensure a cohesive cross-channel approach and consistent messagingAnalyze audience data, customer journeys, and competitive trends to develop targeted segmentations and inform personalized email marketing strategies that drive engagement and conversionsConduct A/B tests and implement data-driven optimization strategies to continuously improve email deliverability, open rates, click-through rates, and conversionsDesign and create compelling email templates that adhere to brand guidelines and best practices for optimal user experience and engagement.Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field7+ years of email marketing experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Marketo experience driving email strategy and executing campaigns requiredExperience with HTML/CSS preferredStrong knowledge of Salesforce preferredProven analytical skills with experience in reporting, optimizations, and making data-driven decisionsUnderstanding of lead management and scoring processesAccuracy, attention to detail, and a quality-oriented approachExcellent communication, collaboration, and project management skillsExperience in developing and executing strategic email programs that drive engagement, lead conversion, and client retentionExperience in the B2B industry is a plusIf you reside in NYC, Chicago, Detroit, or Los Angeles and are within a 90-minute commute to a Dentsu office, this position is hybrid. For other locations, this position is remote.The annual salary range for this position is $68,000-$110,400. Placement within the salary range is based on a variety of factors, including relevant experience, knowledge, skills, and other factors permitted by law.Benefits available with this position include: medical, vision, and dental insurance; life insurance; short-term and long-term disability insurance; 401k; flexible paid time off; at least 15 paid holidays per year; paid sick and safe leave; and paid parental leave. Dentsu also complies with applicable state and local laws regarding employee leave benefits, including, but not limited to providing time off pursuant to the Colorado Healthy Families and Workplaces Act, in accordance with its plans and policies.
