Raleigh, United States Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina Full time

Orthopaedic Specialists of North Carolina is seeking a full-time Human Resources Assistant to assist with HR duties. This position is a hybrid position (mix of in office and remote) with hours Monday-Friday 8A-5P.


This position is eligible for a Commitment Incentive Bonus to be paid out over the course of 2 years. More information is available upon request.

HR Duties include but are not limited to:

  • Works closely with HR to support foundational HR activity, including assigned deliverables in Benefits, Compliance, Talent Management, etc.
  • Helps manage and maintain Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and benefit portals
  • Facilitates day-to-day administration for all benefits programs, including health plans, life insurance, disability, flexible spending, retirement, 401(k), and supplemental benefits
  • Works closely with HR to advise employees on benefits questions or issues
  • Collaborates with company’s benefit brokers, insurance carriers, Supervisor, Human Resources & Payroll as necessary to resolve issues
  • Works collaboratively with the Payroll Administrator to ensure all employment and benefits related information is captured accurately for payroll purposes.
  • Conducts regular audits of enrollment, premium deductions, and invoices to ensure accuracy
  • Assists with benefits renewal and coordinates annual open enrollment process
  • Maintains personnel files
  • Ensures confidentiality of employee data and information and maintains appropriate HR documentation
  • Fosters an environment of service, teamwork, and accountability to promote collaboration within the HR team and cross-functionally with other departments
  • Assumes other HR-related duties and various special projects as assigned


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Business, Human Resources, or related area
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
