Job Title: Quoting Specialist (Contract)

Location: Sandy, UT (Hybrid: 3 days remote, 2 days in office)

Position Summary: We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quoting Specialist to join our team on a contract basis in Sandy, Utah. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales or business operations, with at least 2 years of experience in a similar role within the software industry. This role requires expertise in sales force quoting tools and a strong ability to recognize patterns, solve problems, and drive process improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize sales force quoting tools to generate accurate and timely quotes for prospective and existing clients.
• Analyze complex pricing structures and contract terms to ensure alignment with company policies and profitability goals.
• Collaborate with sales, finance, and marketing teams to refine quoting processes and optimize pricing strategies.
• Provide guidance to cross-functional teams on quoting best practices and system utilization.
• Identify and resolve quoting-related issues, escalating as necessary to ensure timely resolution.
• Act as a subject matter expert on quoting processes, tools, and systems.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in sales, business operations, or a related field.
• ​​​​​​​Proficiency in sales force quoting tools (e.g., Salesforce CPQ, Oracle CPQ Cloud, etc.).
• Background in the software industry with a strong understanding of SaaS business models.
• Ability to analyze data, recognize patterns, and propose solutions to improve quoting accuracy and efficiency.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
• Proven track record of taking ownership of projects and driving process improvements.
• Quick learner with the ability to adapt to evolving business needs.

Compensation:

• Contract position with a competitive pay rate ranging from $35-$45/hour, commensurate with experience.
