We invite you to become a vital part of our team Key Responsibilities: Provide medical care while working under physician supervision including performing examinations and writing prescriptions. Collaborate closely with physicians to address both acute and long-term healthcare needs of patients. Collect comprehensive health histories to assess patient status effectively. Order and perform essential laboratory diagnostic procedures and screening tests. Administer treatments, including injections and wound suturing. Monitor ongoing therapies and ensure continuity of care for all patients. Educate patients and their families on preventive healthcare measures. Engage in peer reviews, chart reviews, staff education, clinical guideline development, and ongoing professional development. Compensation is tailored based on individual factors such as experience and skills, with potential for overtime pay. Bachelor's degree or equivalent in physician assistant studies; completion of an approved training program. Passing grade on the Physician Assistant National Certifying Examination and current NCCPA certification. At least one year of experience in ambulatory healthcare. Current CPR certification. For Nurse Practitioner: Completion of an accredited nurse practitioner education program. Current certification as a nurse practitioner by either AANPCB or ANCC. Completion of pharmacology coursework approved by NYSED. Three years of nursing experience in an ambulatory setting preferred; at least one year as a nurse practitioner. Current CPR certification.
