The Federal Account Executive Civilian Agencies is responsible for driving revenue growth across assigned U.S. federal civilian agencies by developing strategic relationships, identifying mission-aligned opportunities, and managing the full sales lifecycle. This role requires expertise in civilian agency procurement, strong partner collaboration, and the ability to position solutions that support agency modernization, efficiency, and public service outcomes.Primary Position TasksOwn and manage a portfolio of U.S. federal civilian agency accountsDevelop and execute multi-year account plans aligned to agency missions and modernization prioritiesIdentify, qualify, and close new business within civilian agenciesManage the full sales cycle from early-stage opportunity development through contract awardBuild trusted relationships with program managers, contracting officers, contracting officer representatives (CORs), and technical stakeholdersNavigate civilian acquisition vehicles (e.g., GSA MAS, Schedule 70, CIO-SP4, Alliant, SEWP, T4NG, OASIS, BPAs)Work closely with system integrators, OEM partners, and resellers to drive joint pursuitsMaintain accurate pipeline forecasting and opportunity tracking in CRMCollaborate with sales engineering, marketing, legal, finance, and customer success teamsRepresent the company at civilian-focused industry events, forums, and agency briefingsMinimum Education/Certification/Experience RequirementsBachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Masters preferred)5+ years of sales experience in the U.S. federal civilian marketDemonstrated success selling to civilian agencies with quota-carrying responsibilityStrong understanding of civilian agency procurement processes and acquisition timelinesExperience selling through federal contract vehicles and partner ecosystemsExcellent written and verbal communication skills, including executive-level presentationU.S. citizenship requiredPreferred Education/Certification/ExperienceExperience in pre-sales, consulting, or customer-facing technical rolesExperience selling SaaS, cloud, cybersecurity, data, or enterprise IT solutionsExisting relationships within key civilian agencies (e.g., DHS, HHS, DOJ, Treasury, SSA, EPA, DOT)Familiarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, NIST 800-53, and related civilian compliance standardsExperience supporting digital transformation, cloud migration, or zero trust initiativesActive or prior public trust or security clearanceBasic QualificationsU.S. Citizenship RequiredRed River offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits and an exceptional work environment.
