This resource will be responsible for planning, executing, reporting, and implementing multiple IT projects as assigned while following the established Enterprise Products IT project management methodology. Has extensive knowledge of multiple business areas like Finance, Inventory, Supply Chain, needed to understand potential effects to the application modules in an ERP system. This position will support our business users, participate in all relevant changes management activities, and overall service delivery and customer satisfaction. This will require the resource to work with a large ERP support team and assist in the ongoing improvement of an overall IT project management methodology and process.


Responsibilities include:

• Support technical projects from initiation through implementation including phases such as design, build/configure, test, implementation and close.

• Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, organize, and secure required resources, coordinate project activities, prepare, and monitor project budgets, manage, and resolve project issues.

• Initiate and maintain reporting relationships with project stakeholders including team members, peers, managers, customers, vendors, auditors, and other affected departments to coordinate efforts across multiple business and technical groups.

• Assess project dependencies, risks, budget constraints and resource conflicts to ensure successful project implementation. Must be able to develop contingency plans and initiate plans if necessary.

• Monitors project progress and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly.

• Prepares and presents progress reports for management.

• Lead multiple projects at any given time for various business units.

Educational Training/Certifications: The successful candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science Degree, (preferred in MIS, Computer Science, or related field) or 15+ years relevant experience.

• Master’s degree (preferred)

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (preferred)

Experience:

• Minimum of eight years of experience in direct management of multiple, complex projects required.

• Broad range of IT knowledge, including application development, project experience and experience with technical infrastructure projects.

• Broad knowledge of business processes supporting Record to Report (R2R) and Procure to Pay (P2P) cycles.

• Proven track record of successful project team building using internal and external resources.

• Proven leader with excellent inter-personal, communication, negotiation, influencing, organization, and facilitation skills.

• Exhibits continual learning of project management.

Special Skills:

• Ability to develop and maintain project plans and schedules.

• Ability to develop clear requirements and design specifications and serve as the liaison between the business and Information Technology to ensure that specifications meet business needs.

• Ability to understand business and technical issues and be able to translate, communicate, and manage project resources and deliverables to ensure on time and on spec delivery.

• Ability to manage project issues and risks throughout the project.

• Ability to accurately estimate costs and develop and implement project plans within budgetary guidelines and departmental procedures.

• Ability to identify, develop, and direct team members strengths, technological resources, and organizational processes to build productive, cooperative work teams.

• Ability to interact constructively and maintain effective working relationships with management, staff, and external customers or vendors exercising tact and diplomacy with emphasis on flexibility and professionalism.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an ability to conduct root cause analysis and proactively analyze findings and identify opportunities for improvement.

• Ability to conduct macro level strategic planning as well as micro level project administration.

• Ability to manage and reset priorities in a rapidly changing environment.

• Ability to work with, and gain commitment from, personnel across different disciplines and at different management levels within the organization.

• Ability to analyze and report project status and research information.

Interpersonal Skills:

• Good written and oral communication skills.

• Ability to work and communicate with all levels of staff, management, and executives.

• Ability to make well-informed decisions.
