Title: Financial Operations & HR ManagerCompensation: $100,000 - $130,000Location: Hybrid (San Mateo, CA)About The Job:Lakeside HR Group has been engaged by our client, a rapidly growing food technology company, to recruit a Financial Operations & HR Manager. Our client is revolutionizing the food industry with innovative technology and a dynamic, mission-driven team. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced startup environment with significant growth potential.As the Financial Operations & HR Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing financial operations and managing human resources functions. You’ll ensure financial discipline and provide the support and structure needed for the team to thrive.Key responsibilities:Financial Management (60%)Develop and manage budgets for all departments, ensuring adherence to financial targetsProvide financial analysis and forecasting to support business decisionsOversee consolidated financial reporting between U.S. and Korean entitiesImplement and maintain financial controls and compliance proceduresManage cash flow, accounts payable/receivable, and banking relationshipsPrepare financial statements and reports for management and investorsCollaborate with external accountants and auditorsSupport fundraising activities with financial documentation and analysisHuman Resources Management (40%)Oversee all HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, and retentionManage employee benefits programs and ensure compliance with relevant lawsHandle personnel issues, including conflict resolution and performance managementDevelop and implement HR policies and proceduresMaintain employee records and ensure regulatory complianceFoster a positive company culture aligned with values and missionCoordinate payroll processing and administrationRequired Skills:Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field5+ years of experience in financial management, preferably in a startup environmentStrong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standardsExcellent analytical skills with attention to detailProven ability to develop and manage budgetsExperience with financial software systemsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to handle confidential information with discretion and integrityStrong organizational and time management skillsPreferred:Restaurant or food service industry experienceKnowledge of international finance and multi-entity consolidationFamiliarity with startup operations and venture capital financingExperience working with US and Asian business entitiesHR experience & certification (SHRM-CP, PHR, or equivalent)Benefits:Competitive salary and benefits packageHybrid work environmentSignificant growth opportunitiesOpportunity to help shape the future of a revolutionary food technology companyAbout Lakeside HR Group:At Lakeside HR Group, we understand that finding the right job is essential for your career success.
