General Contractor Construction Foreman

We are a general contractor specializing in high end remodels. Expect a positive work environment, hardworking, honest and a customer service mentality. We are a small company, that does quality craftsmanship and takes tremendous pride in our work. We are busy and need the right person to help manage our onsite job operations.


We are looking for a construction foreman to supervise on site work of our subcontractors and manage multiple jobsites. The foreman will create and maintain construction schedules; manage quality control and ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget. The candidate should be extremely organized with excellent time management, leadership, communication, and project management skills. We are a small General Contractor that specializes in high end remodels. We are looking to expand and need a hard working engaged foreman interested in growing with us.


Objectives of this role

  • Create and maintain a construction schedule with project goals in mind
  • Guarantee all safety precautions and quality standards are followed on construction sites
  • Consult daily on progress
  • Ensure all construction projects stay on schedule, remain within the budget, and are completed successfully

Responsibilities

  • Read project plans, drawings, specifications, and blueprints
  • Create and manage schedules and monitor attendance of the subcontractors
  • Oversee construction sites and supervise every detail
  • Delegate responsibilities and tasks to crew members, contractors, and other workers according to priorities and plans
  • Emphasize safe use of all tools and equipment and enforce the proper use of safety

Skills and qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of construction procedures and equipment
  • Ability to read and understand drawings, blueprints, and construction plans
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to problem-solve and fix routine errors
  • In-depth knowledge of safety guidelines and best practices
  • Strong managerial skills with a warm personality

Preferred qualifications

  • Experience in a supervisory or related role
  • Proven leadership skills
  • Ability to drive projects to fruition on time and within budget
  • Ability to hire, train, and supervise workers
  • Expertise in sourcing and supervising construction materials, such as tools and equipment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


PAY DEPENDS ON EXPERIENCE: $20-$30 per hour.
