As Maimone Legal continues to expand and refine its operations to better serve a growing client base the need for a dedicated Operations Manager has never been greater. This role is instrumental in ensuring the firms efficiency overseeing daily operations implementing strategic initiatives and driving process improvements that enhance productivity and client satisfaction. More than just an operational leader you will be a catalyst for innovation empowering our team to focus on delivering outstanding legal services while maintaining the firms reputation for integrity and personalized service.
What youll do:
- Operational Leadership: Oversee the firms daytoday operations ensuring alignment with strategic goals and optimal efficiency. This includes streamlining workflows addressing operational challenges and implementing systems that drive productivity and support the firms longterm success.
- Process Development: Create implement and refine Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to establish consistency and efficiency across firmwide operations. Drive continuous process improvement by identifying inefficiencies developing solutions and ensuring best practices are upheld.
- Performance Tracking: Develop and monitor key metrics to evaluate operational effectiveness using datadriven insights to identify areas for improvement and ensure the firm meets its strategic objectives.
- Team Leadership: Hold team members accountable for their responsibilities by setting clear expectations tracking performance and ensuring deadlines are met. Foster a culture of accountability and efficiency while providing support and guidance to administrative staff including receptionists administrative assistants and paralegals.
- Vendor Management: Manage contracts monitor vendor performance and coordinate services across offices to ensure seamless operations and maximum value. Negotiate with thirdparty vendors to secure costeffective and highquality services that align with the firms needs.
- Human Resources: Lead hiring onboarding and employee development processes to build a strong and capable team. Oversee attendance monitoring and benefits administration including health insurance and PTO management ensuring employees receive comprehensive support and resources.
- Strategic Growth: Collaborate with leadership to identify growth opportunities scale operations and break through growth ceilings. Support longterm planning and to drive sustainable success and expand the firms impact.
What were looking for:
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in operations management preferably within a legal or professional services environment.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and motivate teams with a focus on accountability and achieving operational excellence.
- SelfStarter Mentality: A highly selfmotivated individual who takes initiative identifies operational needs and independently drives improvements without requiring constant direction. Must be proactive in assessing challenges implementing solutions and ensuring the firms operations run smoothly.
- Process & Performance Management: Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing processes procedures and policies as well as establishing and monitoring KPIs to drive operational efficiency and accountability.
- Accountability & Conflict Resolution: Must be confident and direct in holding team members accountable addressing performance issues and navigating difficult conversations. This role requires someone who can handle confrontation professionally set clear expectations and ensure tasks are completed without hesitation or avoidance.
- ProblemSolving & Independence: Must have strong problemsolving skills and the ability to handle operational challenges with confidence. This role requires someone who can assess issues implement solutions independently and take initiative in decisionmaking to ensure smooth operations.
- Technological Acumen: Familiarity with legal practice management software (e.g. MyCase Docketwise) and other relevant technology platforms.
