Outside Sales RepresentativeThe Outside Sales Representative will be responsible for the development of business within our Office Pride market. This individual will target specific customer groups and contribute to the expansion of the Office Pride brand. Additionally, the sales representative will provide ongoing support to customers once business is obtained.Primary Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelops account strategies and territory planningDevelops and increases sales revenue to meet assigned budget numbersBecomes actively involved in sales orientation and sales training programs for personal knowledge developmentActs as a resource to customers in contract opportunities and proposalsDevelops marketing plans and closes sales for target accountsAttends all company sales meetings and contributes to agenda and discussionKeeps informed of new products, services and other general information of interest to customersMonitors competitive activity and develops new methods of customer retentionPlan and execute product demonstrations at customer sites to generate salesWorks collaboratively with inside team (customer service and purchasing) to improve the customer experienceMaintains and manages customer pricing and contracts to ensure accuracy and margin controlMinimum Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesDevelops and maintains business for the regionPlans and manages the sales efforts in the region and reports results to the Director of OperationsRecommends sales strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analysesMonitors market trends in the region and advise management of changesMakes regular sales calls on existing and potential accounts as directed by Operations ManagerDevelops new business opportunities with new clients and existing clients and attend to all key accounts personally to ensure satisfaction.Job Type: Full-time Base $28,000 plus CommissionExperience:Outside Sales: 2 years (Preferred)Janitorial and Sanitation Supply: 2 years (Preferred)Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Compensation: 25k per year when meeting basic sales goals monthlyOffice Pride Commercial Cleaning Services is one of the most respected full-service janitorial and commercial cleaning companies in the nation.Built on a foundation of strong core values and a commitment to service excellence, our goals are to provide total customer satisfaction and a rewarding work environment for team members.
