Director of SMB Sales

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Director of Small Business Sales to lead our efforts in expanding GRUBBRR's market share within the small business segment. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of success in sales leadership, particularly in selling technology solutions to small businesses. They will be responsible for developing and executing strategies to drive sales growth, build strong relationships with customers, and lead a team of sales professionals.


Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand GRUBBRR's presence within the small business market segment.
  • Lead and motivate a team of sales representatives to effectively prospect, qualify, and close new business opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including small business owners, decision-makers, and industry influencers.
  • Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive threats to inform sales strategies and product development efforts.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product management, and customer support, to ensure alignment and success in achieving sales objectives.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of sales performance, pipeline activity, and market insights to senior leadership.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field; MBA is a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales leadership roles, preferably in the technology or food service industry.
  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets in a fast-paced, competitive environment.
  • Strong understanding of the small business market landscape, including customer needs, pain points, and buying behavior.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically, prioritize objectives, and drive results.
  • Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and sales analytics tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed.
  • Engaging personality, polished verbal and written communication skills and meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to engage with customer, recognize opportunities and turn relationship into trusted partnerships
  • Ability to work well with others and communicate clearly
  • 3-5 years of POS sales experience preferred
