ABOUT THE JOB: This position requires the Sales Representative to close contracts for sales customers, at defined monthly goals, that ensure partner and customer satisfaction.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prospects, qualifies and generates sales within the company’s established processes.
  • Ensures prospects identification, planning, account qualification and needs analysis at all prospect levels.
  • Telephones prospects to identify appropriate contacts, qualify and drive leads through the sales pipeline.
  • Identifies and closes additional purchases of products and services by customers' communities.
  • Works closely with Support, Account Management and Business Development.
  • Responds to requests from customers for information and gives online presentations.
  • Attend trade shows up to twice per year.
  • Engages in technical discussions with potential clients through demonstrations and presentations.
  • Remains knowledgeable and up-to-date on changes and developments in the construction industry.
  • Keeps management informed of all activity, including timely preparation of reports.
  • This position requires up to 25% travel.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of two years in a sales or sales support role.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role located in Ashland, KY. As a Residential Roof Salesperson at Roof Masters, you will be responsible for day-to-day sales activities, including prospecting, building client relationships, conducting roof inspections, providing estimates, and closing sales. You will collaborate with the installation team to ensure customer satisfaction and assist in project coordination.

  • Prior experience in sales, preferably in the roofing or construction industry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing abilities
  • Knowledge of residential roofing systems and materials
  • Ability to perform roof inspections and provide accurate estimates
  • Customer-focused with a strong commitment to client satisfaction
  • Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales targets
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
  • High school diploma or equivalent, with additional sales or construction-related certifications preferred
