Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Contract Senior IT Project Manager with expertise in Fintech, specifically in Peoplesoft, FP&A, and Controllership, to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of IT Project Management experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a banking or financial institution setting.


Responsibilities:

- Provide Project Management services to IT Project Managers aligned with Corporate Systems Technology.

- Manage project budgets and timelines, setting clear goals and devising plans to achieve them.

- Maintain project timeframes, budgeting estimates, and consolidate workstream status reports.

- Coordinate project team members, develop schedules, and assign individual responsibilities.

- Implement IT strategies to ensure projects are delivered on schedule and within budget.

- Utilize project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, M&A Accelerator, Clarity, and Planview to track project performance and schedule adherence.

- Schedule and facilitate discussions, tracking minutes in a predefined format.

- Provide weekly report outs to program management and conduct risk assessments for projects.

- Establish and maintain the project's RAID log (Risks, Assumptions, Issues, Dependencies).

- Identify and organize working sessions necessary to meet project goals and drive progress.

- Plan, monitor, control, and document tasks throughout the project lifecycle.

- Ensure all tasks, deliverables, and project materials are delivered promptly, reporting any delays in a timely manner.

- Manage project resources in collaboration with program management and delivery leadership.

- Foster effective communication with stakeholders regarding project status.

- Proactively identify and address blockers and potential risks to project success.

- Collaborate with workstream leads and program management to achieve project goals and objectives.

- Document project processes using various project management tools, ensuring thorough documentation of each step.

- Ensure top-quality results and success for all projects under management.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.

- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

- Minimum of 9 years of IT Project Management experience, with at least 3 years in a banking or financial institution setting.

- Extensive experience in Fintech, particularly in Peoplesoft, FP&A, and Controllership.

- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques.

- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.

- Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously.
