About the Role:

We are seeking to hire a Senior Project Manager to join our diverse team of project managers. This role is solely responsible for the overall success of each project and will also oversee Project Managers across concurrent projects. The successful candidate must have the ability to work independently, have an entrepreneurial work ethic, and have cross-functional experience to manage all aspects of the project. This role is based out of our San Francisco office. It is preferred for candidates to have a wide range of project experience types, including tenant improvement, CapEx, and new construction.


Key Responsibilities:

● Support Principal with development, negotiation and execution of CM proposals

● Establish project goals, processes, and procedures

● Align with client on definition of project success

● Lead site selection walks and lease negotiations

● Complete technical review for potential client sites

● Coordinate with the client, brokers and RE team to ensure a seamless execution of work agreement

● Business Development / Building impersonal market brand / Bringing on new clients

● Set up overall project schedules with key milestone dates to ensure timely coordination of design, procurement, permitting, construction, and FFE vendor activities

● Develop and update the overall project budget

● Establish cost control procedures aligned with client accounting requirements.

● Assess change requests, make recommendations, secure client approvals, and issue change orders.

● Manage client expectations and communicate ongoing project changes to client and vendors

● Sync weekly with Internal team to ensure tracking of all items

● Ownership over progress and deliverables of multiple projects against goals, objectives, approved budgets and timelines

● Oversee and guide vendor selection and onboarding process

● Monitor programming, design, permitting, installation and commissioning deliverables and activities (AOR/Eng, GC, FFE vendors, etc.) and course correct as needed

● Facilitate constructability and risk mitigation reviews

● Support PM or APM with notes, project setup, RFPs, lease review, schedule coordination, budget items, drawing and technical review, and overall training.

● Partner with Principle for employee hiring, onboarding, development, and mentorship, as well as establishing company vision, values, and goals.


Requirements and Qualifications

● 8+ Years of relevant project management experience within commercial real estate.

● Ability to manage and maintain productive relationships with clients and project teams.

● Consistently deliver quality customer service.

● Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

● Self-motivated with ability to navigate competing priorities.

● Strong organizational and tracking mechanisms.

● Degrees or certificates including but not limited to construction management, architecture, interior design, engineering.

● Project Management Professional preferred.

● Experience across a wide range of project types, including tenant improvements, capital upgrades, and new construction.

● Ability to travel based on project obligations and requirements.
