This position serves as a role model of barista responsibilities and serves as the team leader when the Store Manager is unavailable. Model our core values: Integrity - Love - Humility - Courage.Qualifications:Passion for peopleWillingness to master brand recipes and techniquesEnergetic, fast-paced, flexible work styleAbility to work cooperatively in a team environmentAbility to teach others and communicate effectivelyStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailDesire to take on a leadership role in a growing companyMust work a minimum of 20 hours per weekEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Ensure consistent and quality customer experience by executing brand beverage recipes and techniques, resolving customer relations issues, and leading the team in delivering the Scooter's "Amazing" customer service experienceMaintain speed of service standards during high-volume periods by staying calm, managing an efficient team workflow, anticipating customer needs, and utilizing downtime to prepare for the next rushAssist the Store Manager in onboarding and training new team membersDevelop effective working relationships with team members, identifying individual motivation factors and providing clear, constructive feedback to reinforce/improve performanceProactively seek opportunities to increase individual and team salesUnderstand and execute cash handling, point of sale system, and operational procedures in an accurate, consistent mannerEnsure team members follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelinesServe as a keyholder, following all opening and closing proceduresDemonstrate punctuality, dependability, and adaptabilityAssist Store Manager with administrative duties as requestedPhysical Demands/Working Conditions:Standing on feet for extended periodsRepetitive motion including bending, stooping and reachingLifting up to 50lbsWearing a headsetWorking in a small spaceAbility to climb ladders and step laddersAbility to stand in an upright position without walking more than three consecutive steps occasionallyAbility to walk more than three consecutive steps for extended periods of timeAbility to hear, see, and speak within a loud environmentAbility to stoop and climb occasionally throughout a dayAbility to work with hands on one- and two-handed activities constantly throughout a dayRequires weekend and holiday availabilityDisclaimer: The functions and skills described here are general in nature and represent the type of work performed, but they do not constitute an exhaustive list of the duties and responsibilities performed on the job.
