JOB SUMMARY FOR PROJECT MANAGER:


  • We are seeking a Project Manager focused on coordinating multiple workstreams to ensure successful product implementation and market launch.
  • Location- This is a hybrid role, you will need to be onsite in Riverwoods, IL 3x a week.
  • Pay range: $70-77/hr.



***The ideal candidate would have 6+ years of experience in project management, preferably with a background in digital products and payments. They should possess a bachelor's degree in business and hold a PMP or PgMP certification. Strong communication and analytical skills are essential, along with the ability to influence stakeholders and manage cross-functional teams effectively. The candidate should be highly organized, comfortable with ambiguity, and demonstrate a proactive approach to driving innovation and aligning projects with strategic business objectives.



RESPONSIBILITIES FOR PROJECT MANAGER:


  • Define structure for strategically critical initiatives and develop and manage a comprehensive plan for successful product launch
  • Responsible for planning and overseeing product initiatives from inception to implementation while ensuring necessary functionality and flexibility aligned with the company's long term objectives.
  • Orchestrates workflows across teams and complex portfolios in a matrixed operating model.
  • Partners with product and platform leads to develop the business case, scope the work, and ensure alignment on vision and strategy.
  • Organizes and enables collaboration and partnership across cross-functional teams, with internal and external partners, executes on architecture & product driven initiatives.
  • Drives or assists in communications on strategic initiatives to help drive consensus, achieve clarity and solve business problems. Provide oversight & process guidance for activities.
  • Facilitate and drive decisions from key stakeholders around financials, scope, risks and dependencies.
  • Partner with product leads and platform leads to develop the business case and ensure alignment on vision and strategy
  • Provides leadership and guidance’s to teams/business units where there is no clear organizational ownership yet defined or where products/technology is not yet institutionalized or adopted.
  • Drives or assists research and/or brainstorming sessions; helps promote a culture of innovation within the department. Translates ideas and concepts into an executable projects.



REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR PROJECT MANAGER:

Must haves:

  • PMP or PgMP
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 6+ years of experience in Project Management
  • Strong communication skills & ability to influence at all levels
  • Ability to drive and adapt to change in a proactive and positive way
  • Cross-functional experience
  • Preferred/Nice to haves:
  • Master’s Degree
  • Prior PMO/Payment Services experience
  • Experience driving and launching technology/Digital products



SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS FOR PROJECT MANAGER:


  • Mastery of project management disciplines.
  • Program or project management certification (PMP or PgMP).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and facilitation skills.
  • Organized, detail-oriented and efficient.
  • Comfortable with ambiguity.
  • Digital and Payments experience is a plus
