The Company

Symphony Wireless acquires, manages, and leases rooftop, tower and other telecommunication cell sites interests in urban, suburban, and rural environments throughout the United States. Symphony operates as one of the largest privately held owners of these sites across the United States and is backed by one of the largest digital infrastructure firms in the country.

The Opportunity


We are seeking an experienced Director of Marketing to oversee our marketing efforts for an entrepreneurial and innovative infrastructure investment organization. You will design, implement and monitor effective marketing strategies that align with our business goals. You should also play a significant role in shaping the company’s strategic planning.


Our ideal candidate has a solid Marketing background and work experience managing a variety of end-to-end projects, including digital marketing techniques, email and direct mail, and public relations management. This role will report to the Vice President of Sales and will be a member of the management team. This role will be responsible for providing guidance to the marketing department by evaluating and developing marketing strategies, planning and coordinating marketing efforts, communicating the marketing plans to those involved, and building awareness and positioning for the company's brand. Key Responsibilities


  • Evaluating, developing, and communicating marketing strategy and marketing plans.
  • Accountable for creating and executing a scalable marketing strategy to achieve new business pipeline and revenue targets.
  • Own the entire customer marketing journey, from prospecting to engaging with the company’s products & service offerings.
  • Build strong operational infrastructure in place to ensure quality and consistency across all activities within the marketing function.
  • Work with leaders in other functional areas to improve marketing impact on revenue production and improved processes efficiency that can help the sales organization grow revenue.
  • Work the company’s Salesforce platform to provide data analytics, KPIs, and reports on sales and marketing trends and execution progress within the company.
  • Assist to develop and implement the overall marketing approach to support the company’s strategic initiatives for its external partners and brokers program.
  • Support the company’s public relations strategy, identify speaking and interview opportunities for the company’s CEO and its executive team at various industry related events and conferences.
  • Maintain, update, and upgrade the company’s website and social media pages as required and necessary. Overseeing social media marketing strategy and content marketing.
  • Support the sales organization with identifying industry trends that can either lead to new revenue generation opportunities and products or help enhance the positioning of the company’s existing products.
  • Provide and manage the annual marketing budget.
  • Support establishing the company’s annual events and conferences calendar and plan for appropriate level of representation and public relation promotional activities per event.
  • Institute and promote data-based marketing approach: regularly review marketing plans, response rates, and industry best practices to ensure marketing efforts are effective, efficient and successful, making recommendations and adjustments as appropriate.
  • Work with third-party integrators on Salesforce projects.



Qualifications


  • BA/BS degree in marketing, communications, business, or related field.
  • 10+ years of work experience in marketing or related fields with proven success of improved KPI’s and metrics.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills with focus on accuracy, organization, and effectiveness.
  • Proven leadership experience carrying out marketing efforts, including planning, prioritizing, and implementing strategy.
  • Experience with digital marketing platforms including SEO, web analytics, Google Adwords.
  • Must have strong analytical skills to analyze metrics and create reports.
  • Excellent business judgment: intellectual curiosity and the ability to balance business requirements.
  • Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
  • Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
  • Firm grasp on various marketing platforms, channels, and best practices, including social,
  • digital, and email marketing.
  • Strong preference for experience with Salesforce Marketing.
