Our client is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to join our team. The Business Analyst acts as the intermediary between the project initiator and the IT team to lead the requirements gathering, analysis, functional design, and QA testing for the requested system enhancements. In this position you will be expected to design, configure, develop, test, implement and maintain approved business applications. This person must communicate and coordinate effectively as they will be the liaison between business users and IT stakeholders.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Participate in the planning and execution of IT projects, including system upgrades, deployments, and migrations

· Analyze technical systems, interfaces, and processes to optimize solution design

· Design, develop, and maintain BI dashboards and visualizations with the goal of tracking project progress and status, financial and operational performance, key metrics, ad hoc analyses.

· Collaborate with key business partners to design and develop metrics that enable success and change within their departments

  • Liaise between business stakeholders and IT; facilitate cross-functional design and requirements processes
  • Prepare training materials and communications to support initiative rollout and strategic alignment
  • Document requirements and functional specifications

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. BA Certifications and/or PMP a plus (Master's degree preferred)
  • Minimum 3-4 years of proven experience as Business Analyst or related field.

Minimum Education and Skills:

  • Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
  • Expertise and experience in preparing high level requirements, use cases, business requirement documents, functional specifications, and traceability matrix.
  • Proven ability to map business process and workflows, conducting gap analysis and documenting requirements, ensuring requirements are developed and tested.
  • Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations to stakeholders
  • Proficient with Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Outlook
  • Excellent planning, organizational and time management skills
  • Knowledge of basic to mid-level SQL and relational databases, having built and/or managed dashboards and reports in BI applications
  • Communicates effectively at all levels to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum) is a bonus.
  • Flexibility to adapt to change and willing to learn and develop new skill sets as applicable
