Here, you will find a Level II trauma center that is a nationally recognized heart, vascular and pulmonary specialties along with other specialties like orthopedics, neurosurgery, and women's health.Scope of WorkThe Surgical Technologist Senior will be responsible for maintaining and preparing the surgical suite, intraoperative handling of instruments, maintenance of the sterile field, and evaluation of changing conditions during the surgical procedures, and making appropriate responses as needed. Responsible for maintaining knowledge of surgical procedures and protocols. Acts as a preceptor and engages with management and education team on surgical technology curriculum.QualificationsHigh school diploma RequiredAssociate's Degree PreferredCompletion of an accredited School of Surgical Technology or equivalent training program (military, etc.) Preferred3 years of relevant experience. 3 years of independent Surgical Technologist experience.
