As a Clinical Nurse II, you will provide nursing care to patients under general supervision, including medication administration and treatment. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care, as well as supervising staff within your unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Accompany, assist, and advocate for patients with other providers.
  • Provide accurate care including medication administration, wound care, and essential patient activities.
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate nursing care plans.
  • Gather and assess patient information, consult with physicians, and communicate patient needs.
  • Oversee telemetry systems and alert nurses of changes in rhythms.
  • Organize and supervise co-workers' care quality and take on leadership roles when assigned.
  • Promote a safe environment for patients and families while complying with infection control standards.
  • Participate in setting patient care and quality assurance standards.
  • Educate patients and families on healthcare techniques and disease prevention.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: Graduation from an accredited Nursing Program; Bachelor's degree in Nursing preferred.
  • Experience: Six months as a Clinical Nurse I with AHS or equivalent experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid RN license in California; ACLS, BLS certifications required.
  • Preferred Certifications: TNCC, CCRN, ONS, NRP, PALS, and other specialty certifications.
