Senior Analyst - Dom Operations (Ops)SABG is hiring a Senior Analyst - DOM Operations (OPS) to support the Army G-8 in multiple divisions. By applying to this posting, you will be considered for placement in one of several specialized roles based on your background and expertise. This position is contingent upon contract award. Regular CONUS/OCONUS travel is required.Key Responsibilities:Support capability requirements validation through AROC/JROCDevelop investment strategies and program documentationConduct analyses for doctrine, training, and sustainmentBrief senior Army leadership and prepare Congressional testimonyCoordinate with stakeholders across DoD and industrySupport TAA, FFR, and AEMC processesEducation and Experience:Bachelor's degree required (Master's preferred)5+ years Force Development experience at senior Army levels such as HQDA, MACOMs, or Army Service Component CommandsDomain expertise in relevant portfolio areaFamiliarity with Army acquisition and modernization processesCertifications Desired Requirements Management Certification Training (RMCT) Level-A or CMust complete within 6 months: HTAR, AOIC, JCIDS coursesTechnical Skills:Familiarity with Army databases (AE2S-M, CAMS, cQUIP, etc.)Microsoft Office suite expertiseKnowledge of JCIDS, DoDI 5000.2, PPBE, and AROC processesTo perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:Problem SolvingWritten CommunicationDiversityEthicsPlanning/OrganizingProfessionalismLanguage Skills:Ability to read, analyze, and interpret governmental regulationsAbility to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manualsAbility to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the publicMathematical Skills:Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situationsReasoning Ability:Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusionsAbility to question activities and issues in all functional areas and make sound business decisions based on that dataPhysical Demands:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk, and hearThe employee is regularly required to write and type on a computerThe employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and armsThe employee is occasionally required to stand; climb, or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawlSpecific vision abilities required by this job include close visionWork Environment:Job duties are performed in a manufacturing/office environment utilizing standard office equipment such as a computer, photocopier, and telephoneThe noise level in the work environment is usually low to moderateSABG values the service Veterans and their family members have given to our country and we support the hiring of returning Service Members and military spouses.
