What You'll Do

We are looking for a dedicated Network Infrastructure Specialist who will work as a member of a team to provide ongoing maintenance and implementation of the network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will ensure stability, availability, reliability, and security of the production network environment. This role involves addressing complex problems that require in-depth evaluation of various technical and non-technical factors. Additionally, the specialist will perform daily problem resolution, preventive maintenance, and performance tuning, all within best practice standards.

Key Responsibilities

· Network Maintenance: Provide ongoing maintenance and implementation of LAN/WLAN/WAN functionality to ensure network stability and reliability.

· Problem Resolution: Analyze and resolve complex network issues, performing daily problem resolution and preventive maintenance.

· Performance Tuning: Conduct performance tuning to optimize network performance according to best practice standards.

· Network Security: Ensure the security of the production network environment through proactive measures and timely interventions.

· Technical Evaluation: Evaluate technical and non-technical factors to address and resolve complex network issues.

· Collaboration: Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical staff at all organizational levels, working both independently and within a team environment.

· Project Management: Manage and deliver multiple project phases simultaneously, balancing ongoing operational issues with long-term strategic work.

Required Qualification

Qualifications

· Proficient in LAN/WLAN/WAN functionality with the ability to understand, recommend, and implement solutions.

· Strong understanding of Cisco routing, switching, firewalls, VPN, VoIP, and wireless systems.

· Comfortable with common network concepts such as TCP/IP, DHCP, and DNS.

· Excellent written and oral communication skills.

· Sound problem resolution, judgment, negotiating, and decision-making skills.

· Ability to troubleshoot issues across all aspects of Information Technology.

· Adaptability to a rapid and fast-paced changing environment.

· Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

· Experience with network infrastructure in the financial services or technology sectors.

· Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.

· Experience with industry standards and regulations.
