What we do

piezosystem jena (PSJ) is a worldwide developer and manufacturer of piezo-based high precision/high force actuator systems. Throughout the last 30 years, we have worked together with leading OEMs in the fields of semiconductors, photonics, metrology, aerospace, and the automotive industry. Our team of experts knows everything about motion and mechanical action, and we share this passion with our customers and partners.

Our platform “Precisioneers Group” represents a portfolio of leading products from Germany in the areas of high-precision motion technology, interferometer measurement systems, and cutting-edge optical systems. Our products are customizable and focused on the implementation in the newest generation of semiconductors and industrial inspection tools. Our approach to customer advice follows a 90% rule: understanding the customer's challenge and finding a solution precisely where the problem originates. Your Opportunity

We are looking to expand our team, driven by growing customer demands. You will be the point of intersection between our team of experienced engineers in Germany and our customers worldwide. We will give you a comprehensive training program, sharpening your technical and communication skills, so you can lead our customers to find the right technical solution and build strong relationships. We are continuously introducing new products, so this is a unique opportunity to develop and/or apply your entrepreneurial skills.

What you will do

  • Understand the technical challenge of the customer and guide to the best solutions
  • Effectively communicate client needs to find matching products
  • Develop matching customer solutions together with the engineering department
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFQ / RFP responses
  • Collect and document competitive, technological, and market intelligence
  • Develop product-specific technical marketing campaigns together with our marketing team

 What you bring with you

  • A technical degree, background in physics or engineering, and/or a high-tech affinity appreciated
  • Hands-on experience in motion technology, mechanical systems engineering, or material testing for 2 years or more
  • An entrepreneurial mindset and excitement for problem-solving
  • Strong communication skills to build long-lasting customer relationships
  • Willingness to travel abroad (2 times a year internationally and regularly within Europe) and regularly within the USA
