Mission:
The aim of this position is to organize and manage the laboratory, control and tests means as well as the lab resources in order to execute the laboratory activities according needs.
To manage the controls/inspection/test means to have them available for utilization after the corresponding maintenance / verification / calibration activities.
Responsibilities:
-To organize the Laboratory resources and staff to ensure proper lab activities execution.
-To document the Laboratory Organization with the scope of activities (tests/calibrations, ....) to be performed internal and externally.
-To support the quality customer engineer to make the reception and acceptance of the means the first time. - To supervise the documentation of the means and keep that updated.
-To create the annual calibration plan for all control/inspection/test means of the Company.
-To execute the calibration and tests activities under the laboratory responsibility.
-To coordinate the realization of any activity required to the laboratory (testing of materials used in trials, etc).
-To keep updated the documentation of the control/test means.
-To make the acceptance of the means during serial life after the calibration /verification/maintenance activities.
-To organize any tests/calibration, etc with external laboratories when necessary.
-To calculate monthly the indicators related with the laboratory and to take the corresponding actions when any deviation.
-To control and respect the budget of the laboratory for the linked activities.
What we are looking for:
-Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Chemistry, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
-Minimum of 5 years of experience in a laboratory management role, preferably within the automotive industry.
-Strong knowledge of laboratory practices, quality standards, and testing protocols.
-Experience with calibration, maintenance, and verification of lab equipment.
