Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Technician to join our team. As a Quality Technician, you will be responsible for executing quality activities linked to achieving the quality of the product in the manufacturing lines.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Participate in the release of production lines kick-off as well as first part validation on control gauge (appearance and dimensions)
  2. Support the production team in training operators about controls to be performed
  3. Feedback the Manufacturing Quality Manager about any problem of the Quality and/or documentation in the line
  4. Participate in improvement teams and product-process improvements follow-up
  5. Perform product and process audits in the line, including follow-up of the corresponding actions plans
  6. Support the management of NOK or suspicious products produced in the lines: Analysis of the materials, blocking if necessary, decision about rework/scrap/sorting with production team
  7. Participate in line trials about new products and transferring the parts to the laboratory
  8. Suggest to stop the line to production team when quality critical issues appear
  9. Block any material (produced, found in warehouse or any other location) which conformity status is not clear, making the physical identification and ERP movements
Requirements
  • Experience of working in an automotive manufacturing environment
  • Experience working in a JIT or JIS facility
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of 8D, APQP, Control Plans, and SPC
  • Exposure to dealing with multiple OEMs
