As a member of the North American Customer and Market Experience (CME) team, the Enterprise Client Executive (ECE) plays a strategic role in driving growth by building trusted relationships with utility clients across North America. This consultative position aligns Itron's innovative solutions with customer priorities, serving as a trusted advisor to help clients achieve their strategic goals. The ECE is accountable for revenue growth, bookings, and long-term customer success.Duties & Responsibilities:Achieve assigned bookings and revenue targets through new and incremental business across designated utility accounts.Develop and maintain territory, account engagement, and opportunity plans to support quota attainment.Understand market trends, customer drivers, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment to inform strategy.Deliver compelling sales presentations and solution demonstrations that clearly articulate benefits and ROI.Collaborate with senior decision-makers to identify needs and position Itron's products and services as the best-fit solution.Lead cross-functional deal teams-including portfolio managers, solution architects, product specialists, legal, finance, and partners-to execute winning sales strategies.Build and maintain executive-level relationships across customer organizations, positioning Itron as a long-term trusted advisor.Partner with customer enablement teams to ensure commitments are met and solutions deliver measurable success.Proactively identify and mitigate risks related to contract delivery and manage client expectations throughout the engagement.Ensure delivered solutions enable customers to achieve success metrics and become referenceable accounts.Participate in internal business reviews, forecasting, and planning activities to support organizational goals.Manage all pre-transaction activities throughout the sales process with precision and accountability.Required Skills & Experience:Minimum of 5 years' experience in sales within the major utility or similar marketplace.Proven success in consultative selling of enterprise-scale solutions, systems, software, or SaaS to the utility industry.Established relationships with at least three major utilities within the territory, including senior management and key stakeholders.Consistent track record of exceeding sales quotas.Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills.Strong closing skills and ability to manage complex sales cycles.Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage relationships through fulfillment.Collaborative team player with a customer-centric mindset.Preferred Skills & Experience:Experience navigating regulatory environments and market dynamics in the utility sector.Familiarity with Itron's product portfolio or similar technology solutions.Advanced understanding of ROI modeling and solution positioning.Physical Demands:Typical office environment with no special physical requirements.Travel:This role will be expected to travel 50-70% of the time.Benefits Info:This position also includes a competitive benefit package including; financial, social, health and wellbeing programs, paid vacation, 401k matching, employee stock purchase program, hybrid work schedule, and moreThe successful candidate's starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills and experience and may vary by location. The base salary is $125,000 - $265,000.
