Here's what you will do:

  • Provide strategic financial and operational leadership
  • Direct and oversee the HR function
  • Partner with operational leaders to drive efficiencies and improve financial performance
  • Conduct and oversee financial planning and analysis
  • Evaluate and manage real estate investment
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
  • Manage relationships with lenders, investors, and financial institutions
  • Provide team leadership in the development of all team members
  • Communicate financial performance and strategy to all stakeholders

Our client is looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting of Finance
  • 7+ years in progressively financial leadership roles
  • Background in any of the following: real estate development, property management, construction, or any of the skilled trades: HVAC, plumbing, electrical. Other service industries will also be considered.
  • Very open to a Controller who wants to move up in his/her career
  • Strong problem skills
  • Strong sense of urgency
  • Results driven
  • Excellent communication skills

Bonus points if you have:

  • CPA
  • MBA
  • Operational leadership experience
