Observing safety procedures and meeting electrical codes.We are hiring Industrial Electricians at our Chicago Heights, Illinois facility. Join our team and work in a challenging and exciting industryResponsibilities:Provide hands-on troubleshooting and repair of the electrical components for all equipment with as minimal of downtime as possible.Perform electrical preventive maintenance on all equipment as required.Ensure all safeguards of equipment are installed as needed to conform to governmental regulations.Collaborate with maintenance management, lead electricians, and other peers to become familiar with electrical maintenance procedures and processes for all equipment supported by this position.Provide customer service to other associates by way of troubleshooting electrical issues.Maintain safe and environmentally sound behavior and ensure that proper work procedures and practices are followed.Comply with all safety standards and regulations.Qualifications:High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferredIndustrial Electrical Degree and/or verifiable Vocational Education in Electrical field required.Minimum of 3 to 5 years' experience with industrial electrical applications and/or education and experience combined is required.State journeyman or master electrician license preferred.Must have working knowledge and comprehension of state, and federal safety regulations as well as the local, state, and federal electrical code standards.Must have experience working with 3 phase motors and controls.Basic working exposure to PLC.
