We are now expanding our field marketing team to support our growing presence across the Americas.Role OverviewWe are seeking a Field Marketing Manager, Events, to sit within the Demand Generation team and lead our event execution across the United States. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional onsite experiences, from small executive dinners to large industry conferences, and ensuring our events pipeline translates into measurable business impact.The ideal candidate is both creative and operationally excellent, capable of designing memorable booth activations, managing complex logistics, and partnering closely with Sales, Campaigns, and Product Marketing. This is a hands-on execution role that blends strategic planning with meticulous attention to detail. Success in this role requires a passion for events, strong collaboration skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.Key Responsibilities Own end-to-end planning and execution of Yugabyte's U.S. event portfolio, including trade shows, conferences, regional field events, workshops, roadshows, and customer meetups. Develop engaging and creative booth experiences and field activations that elevate Yugabyte's brand and drive qualified engagement at events. Partner closely with Sales, Demand Generation, Product Marketing, and Design to align event strategy with regional pipeline goals and key campaigns. Manage event budgets, contracts, vendors, agencies, booth builds, sponsorships, swag, and shipping logistics with high attention to detail. Track, measure, and report event performance against pipeline goals, conversion metrics, and ROI, and continually optimize based on data insights. Ensure a consistent and premium representation of Yugabyte at all in-person events. Coordinate speaker sessions, customer engagements, and technical demos with internal SMEs when applicable. Act as the on-site lead at priority U.S. events. Travel as needed, up to 40 percent.Skills and Experience Required 5 or more years of experience executing both small-scale and large-scale in-person events, ideally within a high-growth B2B tech, database, open source, or cloud infrastructure company. Proven ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining flawless organization and attention to detail. Demonstrated creative flair in developing booth concepts, visual experiences, audience engagement tactics, or unique event activations. Strong field marketing fundamentals with the ability to connect events to demand generation, campaigns, and regional pipeline outcomes. Experience working closely with Sales teams and understanding enterprise sales motions. Data-driven mindset, comfortable with reporting, metrics, event attribution, and ROI analysis. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to coordinate across marketing, sales, product, and technical teams. Willingness and ability to travel frequently across the U.S. for events.We feel strongly about equal pay for equal work, and transparency in compensation is one way to help achieve that. The cash compensation for this role is market competitive, with a range of USD 140,000-USD 160,000, inclusive of variable/incentive for some roles. As well as equity (when applicable), and benefits including health plans, retirement plans, and unlimited paid time off (PTO). The pay range for this position is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. The actual pay will vary based on factors including experience, qualifications, and skill level.Due to the Proclamation, "Restriction on Entry of Certain Nonimmigrant Workers", which went into effect on September 21, 2025, at this time we are no longer able to sponsor new H-1B visa petitions filed after September 21, 2025 for new hires.
