Financial Due Diligence ManagerAs a Financial Due Diligence Manager, you'll focus on middle-market transactions, serving dynamic organizations with experienced professionals who bring a full range of advisory services to validate, optimize and create value for the Transaction Advisory Practice all with the resources, environment, and support to help you excel. Your day-to-day may include:Manage financial due diligence professionals on buy-side and sell-side transactions for our client base which includes corporate clients, private equity groups and commercial lendersManage engagements throughout the transaction lifecycle and coordinate other Grant Thornton capabilities by leveraging the expertise of other service lines, cross-functional teams, and international colleagues as neededPlan, execute, direct and complete financial due diligence for financial and corporate strategic buyers from a variety of industriesExamine & analyze client data to identify key trends, quality of earnings adjustments and net working capital impactsDraft reports to socialize our findings around quality of earnings, networking capital and business performance along with insights around the key financial and business issues in a transactionManage client expectations concerning timing, progress, deliverables, deadlines, and lead change efforts effectivelyDevelop and maintain strong client relationshipsTeam with partners and senior managers on proposals and business development callsRecruit, manage, mentor, and train senior associates and associatesAssess performance of senior associates and associates for engagement and year-end reviewsOther duties as assignedYou have the following technical skills, qualifications, and abilities:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required, Advanced degree preferredMinimum 6 years of related work experience in a similar consulting practice or function servicing cross-industry clients at a national level requiredIndustry recognized professional certification required, CPA or related license/certification preferredStrong current knowledge in US GAAP, GAAS, SEC Reporting, transaction advisory services or mergers and acquisitions requiredAbility to manage multiple priorities and simultaneous project in a rapidly growing practiceStrong leadership, business development, recruitment, training, and mentoring skillsExcellent written, presentation, leadership, and interpersonal communications skillsCan travel as needed.
