Job Summary: The Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the hands-on oversight of a maintenance team that safely and efficiently supports a 24/7 manufacturing environment. In this highly collaborative role, you will plan, organize, schedule, and oversee the day-to-day maintenance work, ensuring that the equipment and systems are operating at peak performance.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify, modify, adjust, and repair mechanical, electronic, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment
  • Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and mechanical renditions
  • Utilize a variety of power tools, hand tools, and measuring equipment safely and correctly
  • Improve equipment reliability to minimize downtime and maximize production efficiency
  • Participate in purchasing maintenance materials and outside technical services
  • Establish and implement a systematic preventative maintenance program
  • Investigate equipment failures and provide corrective actions to improve reliability
  • Monitor parts requests and ensure cost-effective inventory management
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives and provide status updates to management
  • Ensure compliance with all legislative requirements related to safety and environment


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical technology, mechatronics, engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a maintenance supervisory role, preferably in a highly automated manufacturing environment
  • Strong knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and robotics systems
  • Proficiency in reading wiring diagrams, schematics, and PLC programming (e.g., Siemens Step 7, Beckhoff TwinCAT)
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general math skills
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work cross-functionally
  • Experience with ABB robots and fabrication is preferred
