Job Details:

Are you a skilled Mechanic/Technician with a passion for the scientific industry? We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team. This full-time, permanent role is a unique opportunity to work on state-of-the-art scientific equipment and systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of a variety of high-tech mechanical and electrical systems, including hydraulic equipment, PLC, controls, vision systems, and production equipment such as cappers, labelers, cartoners, and bundlers.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform regular maintenance checks on all equipment, identifying potential issues and implementing preventative measures.
  • Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, electrical, and PLC systems.
  • Operate and maintain aseptic production equipment such as cappers, labelers, cartoners, and bundlers.
  • Utilize vision systems to monitor equipment performance and make necessary adjustments.
  • Provide training to other team members on the operation and maintenance of various equipment.
  • Work closely with other departments to ensure equipment efficiency and productivity.
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance, repair, and training activities.
  • Comply with all safety and operational guidelines and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and management, providing updates and reports as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanic/Technician in the scientific industry or a related field.
  • Proven experience with hydraulic equipment, PLC, controls, and electrical systems.
  • Experience with aseptic production equipment such as cappers, labelers, cartoners, and bundlers.
  • Proficiency with vision systems.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively train others.
  • Bilingual skills are a significant asset.
  • ASEPTIC experience is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong commitment to safety and quality.
