Description:

The Industry Development Coordinator delivers proactive, coordinated marketing support to the firm’s Marketing Department and Healthcare Industry Sector Group. Provide back-up administrative and marketing support, as needed, to the firm’s Healthcare Section. The Industry Development Coordinator is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days a week spent in the office.


Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist with the implementation of industry sector group strategic initiatives and daily operations.
  • Assist the Sr. Business Development Managers with practice rankings and surveys.
  • Work with Digital Communications team members to identify items that could be showcased on the firm’s intranet.
  • Coordinate firm sponsorships.
  • Coordinate firm events.
  • Coordinate meetings.
  • Track and report industry experience.
  • Work with the firm’s InterAction Team to maintain client relationship history and contact information, and to create and monitor industry, event or project mailing lists, etc.
  • Coordinate the flow of information from lawyers to the various HK departments for events and creative projects, such as coordinating payments and event collateral.
  • Assume additional responsibilities as requested. This may include providing similar support to the Healthcare Section, depending on department workload.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum three years of experience in professional services. Law firm experience preferred. Healthcare experience preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Strong project management skills, detail and deadline oriented
  • Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Proficient in a range of computer software applications, including databases, MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint; InterAction a plus.
  • Confident communicator, ability to work effectively with partners and senior administration of the firm.
  • Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
  • Flexibility to work additional hours as necessary.
  • Familiarity with AP Style Manual a plus.


Minimum Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
