Description:
The Industry Development Coordinator delivers proactive, coordinated marketing support to the firm’s Marketing Department and Healthcare Industry Sector Group. Provide back-up administrative and marketing support, as needed, to the firm’s Healthcare Section. The Industry Development Coordinator is a hybrid role, with 2-3 days a week spent in the office.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Assist with the implementation of industry sector group strategic initiatives and daily operations.
- Assist the Sr. Business Development Managers with practice rankings and surveys.
- Work with Digital Communications team members to identify items that could be showcased on the firm’s intranet.
- Coordinate firm sponsorships.
- Coordinate firm events.
- Coordinate meetings.
- Track and report industry experience.
- Work with the firm’s InterAction Team to maintain client relationship history and contact information, and to create and monitor industry, event or project mailing lists, etc.
- Coordinate the flow of information from lawyers to the various HK departments for events and creative projects, such as coordinating payments and event collateral.
- Assume additional responsibilities as requested. This may include providing similar support to the Healthcare Section, depending on department workload.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of experience in professional services. Law firm experience preferred. Healthcare experience preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong project management skills, detail and deadline oriented
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Proficient in a range of computer software applications, including databases, MS-Word, MS-Excel, and MS-PowerPoint; InterAction a plus.
- Confident communicator, ability to work effectively with partners and senior administration of the firm.
- Ability to work well under pressure of deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Ability to work well in a team as well as independently.
- Flexibility to work additional hours as necessary.
- Familiarity with AP Style Manual a plus.
Minimum Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree required.
