We are looking for a Tax Manager for our Client, a consumer goods company.


This is a full-time permanent job.


In this role you will be responsible for the company‘s tax compliance, tax planning and accounting for income taxes.


Requirements:



  • Bachelor‘s degree in finance/accounting or relevant field,
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or Enrolled Agent
  • 7+ years of related tax consulting experience
  • Experience with corporate and individual tax returns
  • Must be current with tax legislation
  • Experience with planning for pass-through entities designed for high-net-worth individuals.

Key duties and responsibilities include:



  • Completion of federal and state income tax returns including all related analysis and support
  • Audits of federal and state tax income tax and state and local filings
  • Tax planning
  • Liaison with operating management on tax issues and accounting staff on tax accounting issues
  • Ensure that appropriate internal controls are in place over accounting for income taxes
  • Maintain strong client relations and cross-sell services within the assigned group of clients
  • Manage, develop, train and mentor staff on tax projects.
