Job Description

The Site Reliability Engineer focuses primarily on leveraging and creating code to enhance automation, visibility, and reliability for infrastructure and applications. This role employs cutting-edge technology to deploy, automate, manage, and troubleshoot all aspects of Technology Infrastructure. As a member of an Agile team, the engineer will collaborate across departments on enterprise-wide technology projects supporting ongoing digital transformation goals. This position demands a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, along with creative thinking and advanced problem-solving skills, to develop innovative solutions for technology challenges—including Data Center Infrastructure Management, Technology Operations, Service Delivery Platform, and Enterprise IT. The ideal candidate will possess the skills, motivation, and experience to contribute effectively to a high-performing team, delivering superior, consistent, and reliable services in a dynamic IT service provider environment.


REQUIRED

  • 5+ years of Infrastructure / Systems experience (combo of administration and engineering)
  • Expertise in Windows, Linux, and VMware administration including PKS containerization
  • Cloud experience with AWS and Azure
  • Automation and scripting experience with Python (Ansible & PowerShell are nice to have)
  • IaC/IaaC experience with Terraform (Cloud Formation is okay, but Terraform preferred)
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and/or Kubernetes
