Maintenance Mechanic

My client’s products are used in a wide variety of industrial processes and many customer products from decorative paints to green cement from clean drinking water to green tires and from toothpaste to biofuels and beer.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Performs mechanical and electrical repair of all equipment associated with operations.
- Installs machinery pipes structural steel etc. at a multiplant location.
- Specify and purchase replacement parts and equipment.
- Operates in compliance with all health safety and environmental rules and regulations.
- Knows and complies with all corporate & plant policies and procedures.
- Interprets and reacts to instrumentation readings to control the process.
- Diagnoses problems and determines course of action to solve or correct situation.
- Ability to selfdirect assignments and complete in a safe and efficient manner.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Industrial Maintenance Experience 5 Years Preferred
- Completion of 4 Technical Trade Courses or Apprentice Program
- Electrical Knowledge 480V MCC Buckets – Troubleshooting and Minor Repairs
- Welding Experience
- Able to follow Written and Verbal Instructions
- Able to Demonstrate Basic Computer Skills
- Must Demonstrate a Strong Work Ethic (Attendance Attitude Etc.)
- Understanding of LOTO Hot Work Line Break SOP Etc.
- Ability to pass forklift certification course.
- Up to 50 Lb. lifting requirement
