Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Device Programmer at LEXION Medical in St Paul, MN. The Medical Device Programmer will be responsible for the day-to-day programming and development of medical devices, including back-end web development, software development, and programming. The role will involve utilizing skills in computer science and object-oriented programming (OOP) to create and maintain software for medical devices.


Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications for medical devices.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to understand user requirements and technical specifications.
  • Write clean, well-documented, and efficient code following best practices and regulatory guidelines.
  • Conduct thorough software testing, verification, and validation activities.
  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues, identifying and implementing effective solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory standards and guidelines, such as FDA regulations and medical device quality systems.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in medical device programming.
