The Mobile Device Management (MDM) Engineer 3 Lead is a senior-level position focused on leading the design, implementation, and management of advanced mobile device solutions within our IT infrastructure. This role requires deep technical expertise and leadership skills to oversee the mobile device management team, ensuring our mobile devices' security, functionality, and efficiency across Granicus. The ideal candidate should possess extensive knowledge of mobile device management platforms, exceptional problem-solving abilities, and the capability to drive strategic initiatives.   • Lead the design, implementation, and management of sophisticated mobile device management solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing IT infrastructure.

  • Oversee the monitoring and maintenance of the performance, security, and compliance of mobile devices within Granicus.

  • Develop, enforce, and continuously improve mobile device policies, procedures, and best practices to enhance security and operational efficiency.

  • Provide advanced technical support and troubleshooting for complex mobile device issues, ensuring timely resolution.

  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of mobile devices to ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards.

  • Collaborate with IT leadership and other teams to integrate mobile devices with enterprise systems and applications.

  • Stay abreast of the latest developments in mobile device management technologies and industry trends, applying this knowledge to improve current practices.

  • Lead training sessions and workshops to educate end-users and IT staff on mobile device policies, security practices, and usage guidelines.

  • Plan and execute mobile device deployment projects, ensuring successful implementation within set timelines.

  • Maintain and oversee detailed documentation of mobile device configurations, policies, and procedures.

  • Mentor and guide junior MDM engineers, fostering a collaborative, high-performance team environment.

  • Extensive experience in mobile device management and support, with a strong understanding of MDM platforms such as Microsoft Intune, VMware Workspace ONE, etc.

  • Proven leadership experience in managing and directing a team of IT professionals.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex mobile device issues.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of conveying technical information to diverse audiences.

  • In-depth knowledge of mobile operating systems (iOS, Android) and mobile application management.

  • Experience with security protocols and practices related to mobile devices, including encryption, MFA, and compliance standards.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

  • A degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent work experience.

  • Certifications related to mobile device management or IT security are a plus.
