Position Title: Commercial Lines Account Executive—The Book is heavy in social service accounts, non-profits, and others for our White Plains, NY office


Position Summary:

Reporting to the Property & Casualty Practice Leader in White Plains, NY, the Commercial Lines Account Executive is responsible for the retention and growth of an assigned book of business. The Account Executive builds relationships with clients and prospects to achieve client satisfaction.


WHAT YOU’LL DO:


  • Cultivate relationships with clients, prospects, carrier partners, and teammates to drive retention and new business
  • Taking the lead on the renewal process for assigned book of business
  • Oversee the completion of administrative tasks, including issuance of certificates of insurance and auto ID cards and processing policies/endorsements.
  • Identify gaps in coverage and advise clients and prospective clients with options; work through complex coverage needs.
  • Review and document internal compliance and client disclosure requirements, policies, endorsements, and certificates to ensure understanding of client expectations, legal requirements, and insurance operations.
  • Help grow the assigned book of business through account rounding and referrals.
  • Support marketing and sales teams.
  • Follow agency guidelines, policies, and procedures.


WHAT YOU’LL NEED:


  • Strong technical knowledge of commercial lines insurance coverage.
  • 5+ years’ service/general agency/company experience.
  • Property & Casualty License, required.
  • Insurance designation is preferred.
  • Experience working with AMS 360 is preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

The salary range for this opportunity is $110 - 130k
