Job Definition:

The Senior Digital Marketing Content Specialist is responsible for multimedia content creation and deployment for a growing portfolio of brands offering wholesale home décor, home fragrance, and accent products. This role is essential in driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and website traffic through high-quality, visually appealing digital content — including marketing emails, social media posts, promotional copy, website graphics, and videos. The ideal candidate will be experienced in email marketing and social media content strategy, design, and production.


Primary Responsibilities:

Manage the digital marketing content calendar and collaboratively develop multi-channel content strategies with the Brand Marketing team

Design, develop, and deploy marketing emails and social media posts that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and website traffic

Produce high-quality, visually appealing images, graphics, and videos for marketing emails, social media posts, websites, and other digital platforms

Write engaging promotional and informative copy for marketing emails, social media posts, and website landing pages

Monitor email marketing and social media performance metrics for challenges and opportunities and create strategic recommendations

Contribute to the creation of monthly Digital Marketing reports, data analysis, and strategic recommendations

Work collaboratively with the sales, product, and brand teams to understand and communicate key product line information, selling points, trends, etc.

Travel to Memphis office and industry trade shows (~10%)

Perform other duties as assigned and work cross-functionally with others


Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:


Education: Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, graphic design, digital media or related field

Experience:

  • 5+ years of related experience in digital marketing or ecommerce roles
  • Experience with digital design and deployment for email marketing and social media required
  • Experience in B2B consumer products industries preferred

Skills/Abilities:

  • Must be able to produce high-quality, visually appealing digital content with strong attention to detail and a commitment to testing and proofing
  • Must be able to develop compelling content themes and campaigns by identifying and positioning products, categories, collections, and brands while accounting for business needs and goals
  • Highly skilled in email marketing design and production, including working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and the use of data-driven dynamic content within existing modular templates
  • Proficiency in creating and scheduling social media content using native platforms
  • Strong graphic design skills and proficiency in designing and producing images, graphics, and videos using Adobe Creative Suite or similar tools
  • Ability to write engaging copy appropriate for different platforms, target audiences, and campaign goals
  • Ability and interest in interpreting data from GA4, email marketing platform (Acoustic), and native social media platforms to measure content performance and create actionable recommendations
  • Ability to organize, start, and self-manage assigned tasks and projects
  • Highly effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to present information clearly and professionally to varying levels of individuals
